Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions before placing your order.  Placing an order is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
In these conditions all references to “Seek Unique” are to “Seek Unique Limited”.
 
These conditions override any differing conditions, which may appear on any order enquiry or other document received by Seek Unique and apply to all orders accepted by Seek Unique for the sale or supply of goods. No change to these conditions will be effective without Seek Unique’s written consent.
 
Price/Payment:
  • All prices are net. Orders are accepted according to the company’s price ruling at the date of despatch and are subject to alterations without prior notice.
  • All new customers will be issued with a pro-forma invoice, the total value of the goods ordered must be received and cleared in favour of Seek Unique before the order will be processed.
  • Payment terms for existing customers are net 30 days from date of invoice. 30 days credit will only be given to customers at Seek Unique’s discretion, and upon receipt of 2 satisfactory trade references. Seek Unique reserves the right to require alternative payment terms, including, without limitation, payment in advance.
  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Seek Unique, payments shall be made without any deduction within 30 days from the date of the invoice. Seek Unique reserves the right to charge interest on any amounts unpaid at the end of this period of 30 days at 3% above the Base Rate for the time being in force of Natwest Bank PLC, and the Buyer shall be liable for any costs incurred by Seek Unique in recovering such amounts.
  • Invoice queries must be notified to Seek Unique within 10 working days of the date of the invoice, at the end of which period any liability of Seek Unique will cease.
  • Payment can be made by: Cheque, Credit / Debit card or by BACS. Payment by credit card will be subject to a 2.5% charge. Cheques should be made payable & sent to: Seek Unique Limited, 58 Livesay Crescent, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 8AT
Orders:
  • The minimum order value is £100 net
  • No order is binding on Seek Unique until accepted by Seek Unique’s issue of an acknowledgement of order.
Carriage:
  • Carriage in UK Mainland is paid on orders exceeding £300 net.
  • Orders below £300 net will be subject to a minimum £9.95 carriage charge.
  • Orders from non-UK regions will be subject to a carriage charge which will be quoted at the time of ordering.
Despatch:
  • Delivery is approximately 3 working days from the acknowledgement by Seek Unique of the written order.
  • Any time or date for delivery (whether stated in Seek Unique’s acknowledgement of order or elsewhere) is an estimate only and Seek Unique will not be liable for any delay in delivery for any cause. Seek Unique reserves the right to make part shipments or part deliveries at its discretion.
  • The company shall not be liable for (a) any failure to deliver caused by or resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control (b) any consequential loss or damage arising from any cause whatever (whether or not attributable directly or indirectly to the acts defaults or negligence of Seek Unique or any of its servants agents or contractors) or (c) any shortage or defect in goods supplied by it unless written notice is given to Seek Unique.
  • Any claim against Seek Unique shall be limited to the purchase or order price of the goods in respect of which the claim is made.
  • Seek Unique must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise or any shortage or breakages. Without such notification, it will be considered that the customer has completely accepted the order as shipped and invoiced.
The title in all goods delivered shall remain vested in Seek Unique until all sums due or owing by the buyer to Seek Unique have been paid in full. If the buyer sells the goods to any third party the buyer shall hold the proceeds of the sale on trust for Seek Unique to the extent of all sums due or owing to Seek Unique.
 
Seek Unique cannot be held responsible for any misrepresentation associated with any product or price contained in catalogues, pricelists or on our web site. Due to digital limitations colours in the brochures or internet images might appear different than the real product colour.
 
The product policy of Seek Unique is of continuous improvement and the specification of any product may be changed without notice at any time.
 
The law of England and Wales shall apply to these conditions and to all contracts for any goods sold and delivered by Seek Unique.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. Your personal information is password-protected to prevent unauthorised access to it. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
